1B1AD call sign Mustafa Müfit Bey was born on 31 July 1950 and is a retired physics teacher. Thanks to his interest in and curiosity about electronics, he became acquainted with amateur radio. He obtained his license in the early 1990s and acquired a large part of his equipment from abroad at that time. The Cushcraft A3S Yagi antenna that he obtained from a British operator on the island is still installed at his home in Nicosia together with its rotor system. He speaks fluent English and has an extremely hospitable personality.

In 2018, TA7H (Ex. TA7AOF) Furkan Bey visited him and received a QSL card by hand during this visit. This card formed the first step of the QSL collection and the idea of the QSL museum. It carries great sentimental value and is regarded as one of the most precious pieces symbolizing the foundation of the QSL museum. Below is a photograph taken while receiving the QSL card.

In the June 2007 Germany-based Funk Amateur magazine, it was stated that the QSL manager was DK7ZZ.
