QSL Museum

Corner of Thanks

This archive exists thanks to the people who shared their cards, their documents and their labour. We thank the associations, teams and radio amateurs who helped the QSL Museum become what it is today.

TCSWAT Team

TC Special Wireless Activity Team

We thank the TCSWAT team for its great contribution to bringing the paper QSL card tradition back to life in Türkiye. By sending more than a hundred thousand paper QSL cards to every corner of the world, they not only revived QSL culture but also largely broke the long-voiced perception that “Turkish amateurs do not send QSLs and do not answer cards”; the value the Turkish amateur radio community places on QSL culture has once again become visible on international platforms. For all their efforts, we thank the entire TCSWAT team on behalf of our country.

YM7KK Association

Giresun Radio Amateurs Association

For the thousands of QSL cards received from QSOs made during special call sign activities, above all to the association president TA7EB Ali DEMİRALP, and to the GiTRAD association our endless thanks.

Tevfik Aydın KAZANCIOĞLU

We thank Tevfik Aydın Kazancıoğlu for his valuable contributions to keeping the paper QSL culture alive and passing the history of our amateur radio on to future generations. Taking on important roles in the activities of TCSWAT and GiTRAD and working on the sending and delivery of QSL cards, Tevfik Aydın Kazancıoğlu made it possible for the QSL cards of TA2J Fazıl Türkan and thousands of QSL cards from special event call signs to live on in the Türkiye QSL Museum.

We sincerely thank him for his valuable support of QSL culture and of our museum.

Mehmet ADIGÜZEL

In January 2021, TA7H Furkan shared his dream of a QSL Museum with TA5FA Mehmet. Mehmet approached the idea with great sincerity and encouraged him. Shortly afterwards he made a tangible contribution to that dream with a box full of QSL cards. For Furkan this box was not merely a set of cards but a keepsake of great sentimental value, symbolising the first steps of the project. The support and trust of TA5FA Mehmet hold an important place in this journey.
